Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website chatclubltd.site and any engagement with Chat Club Ltd. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by Chat Club Ltd, registered in England & Wales, with its address at 12 Paget Avenue, Sutton, England, SM1 3BE, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] or +48 794 483 856.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. All content is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. Information provided
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice. Any proposal or quotation is subject to a written agreement.
3a. This is not therapy or healthcare
Chat Club Ltd is not a healthcare provider and does not provide therapy. We do not diagnose, assess, screen for or treat any medical, psychological, developmental or communication condition, and we do not provide speech and language therapy, counselling or psychotherapy. Nothing said in a session, in correspondence or on this website is a diagnosis, an assessment, a clinical opinion, a treatment or medical advice, and nothing here should be used in place of advice from a doctor or a registered health professional. If you have or suspect a medical or communication condition, speak to your GP, who can refer you to a registered professional. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
No person acting for us holds themselves out as a speech and language therapist, practitioner psychologist, clinical psychologist, educational psychologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, dietitian, arts therapist or as holding any other title protected under the Health Professions Order 2001, and no such title is used by us. Those titles may lawfully be used only by persons registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. We are not registered with the Care Quality Commission and we do not carry on any activity that is a regulated activity requiring such registration; if that were to change, registration would be obtained before the activity began. We make no claim that our sessions treat, cure, prevent or improve any condition, and no such outcome is promised or should be inferred.
3b. Sessions, participation and bookings
Sessions are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not provide sessions for children or for adults at risk; work of that kind carries safeguarding and enhanced disclosure obligations and is not undertaken unless those obligations are in place and the engagement expressly covers them. Participation is voluntary and nobody is required to speak, to disclose anything about themselves or to continue with a session. Participants are asked to respect the confidentiality of anything shared by others in a group; we cannot guarantee what other participants do, and nobody should share anything in a group that they would not want repeated. Session times, formats, fees and cancellation terms are those agreed at the time of booking. Nothing on this website is medical, psychological, educational or legal advice for your particular situation.
4. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
